It's all about Jesus! Genesis is the book of beginnings. It teaches us the origin of the universe, of men and women, of societies and governments, of sin and evil, and the very first mention of the good news of the gospel. God established His plan of salvation before the universe was formed, and all of it revolved around the prophesied Messiah, Jesus! This week we take a step back and look at an overview of the whole book of Genesis to see what the book of beginnings tells us of the coming Messiah who would overcome sin and death and lead us into eternal life.
